Area employers are invited to a free Lunch ‘n Learn event on Feb. 17, 11:30 a.m. CST, at the Gibson County Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics located on U.S. 41 in Ft. Branch.
The focus of the discussion will be how area employers can benefit from training and educational opportunities that are specifically designed to meet workforce demands of local businesses. Vincennes University personnel will describe the training available that ranges from a basic material handling course to an associate degree in Supply Chain Logistics Management. These training programs will provide students and employees with skill sets for obtaining entry-level, supervisory, and mid-level management supply chain positions.
