About CBS44 WEVV

WEVV is the CBS television affiliate located in Evansville, Indiana operating on analog channel 44. WEVV began broadcasting in 1983. Our studio and offices are located in downtown Evansville.

During the Fox years, the station was known generally as "Fox 44". Before the change to CBS, the station was briefly called "WEVV Fox TV". The channel number returned following the affiliation switch as we are now known as CBS44.

WEVV is owned and operated by Comcorp of Indiana.

In September of 2006 Channel 44 began broadcasting digitally on 44.1 with a 1080i HDTV signal. Also available on 44.2 is the digital signal of sister station My44 (formerly WTSN).

WEVV maintains a FCC Public File for Public Inspection at our studio/office location, 44 Main Street in Evansville, Indiana. The WEVV offices are open during normal business hours Monday through Friday 8am-5pm (CT), excluding holidays.
