It happened on Thursday around 3:00 a.m., when an officer with the Madisonville Police Department saw a potential hand-to-hand drug deal outside the apartments on Wiltshire Drive.
The officer made contact with a person there, identified as 37-year-old Gary Ezell.
MPD says Ezell was found to be in possession of a trafficking amount of suspected meth. He told the officer he lived in the apartments there and gave him permission to search his home.
Inside Ezell's home, officers found nine other individuals, according to MPD. During their search of the residence, officers also found several baggies of suspected meth, multiple baggies, several digital scales, several smoking pipes / hypodermic needles, and an undisclosed amount of cash.
MPD says everyone there said they didn't know who the drugs belonged to and that all of them denied ownership.
All 10 were arrested and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
