The lawn of the Daviess County Courthouse is lined with nearly 100 American Flags.
The flags were put up by the Kiwanis Club of Owensboro as part of their Walk of Honor.
Community members, businesses, and organizations have sponsored the flags to remind Tri-State military families that their sacrifices have not gone unnoticed.
"It is something that brings out community together," said Denise Jarboe, President of the Kiwanis Club of Owensboro. "It gives people a reason to navigate this way and walk around the courthouse, look at our tags, and see who's being honored."
There are still flags available for sponsorship.
The display will remain up until after the July 4th holiday.
