114 New Cases in Vanderburgh County and 2 Local Deaths

The Indiana Department of Health reported 3,978 Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through state and private testing sites.

That brings the total to 468,219 Indiana residents who have been confirm as positive cases.

In Vanderburgh County, we saw a decline in positive cases at 114, and two deaths in surrounding counties.

Below is the list of counties in our area and their total case numbers.

Vanderburgh County: 114 new cases (13,880 total).

Warrick County: 40 new cases (4,662 total).

Gibson County: 23 new cases (2,785 total).
Posey County: 8 new cases (1,693 total).
Knox County: 20 new cases (2,724 total),1 death (35 total)
Pike County: 8 new cases (816 total).
Dubois County: 74 new cases (34,001 total), 1 new death (38 total).
Daviess County: 10 new cases (2,122 total),
Spencer County: 17 new cases (1,287 total).

The combination of sunshine and southerly winds will make for another abnormally mild day throughout the Ohio Valley - expect an afternoon high temperature near 69° this afternoon. Friday evening looks as though it will be just as pleasant; after seeing the upper 60s earlier in the day, we'll dip to 60° by 5 PM before falling towards 54° around 7 o’clock. We are however, watching a passing low pressure system and accompanying cold front that is expected to pass through the Tri-State late Friday evening and early Saturday morning.
