13 New Positive Cases of COVID-19 Confirmed in Daviess County, Kentucky

An additional 13 Daviess County, Kentucky residents were confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday by the Green River District Health Department.

13 new positive cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Daviess County, Kentucky, on Wednesday, Sept. 2, by the Green River District Health Department (GRDHD).

There are now 1,007 total Daviess County residents confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19 to date - over double the amount of any other county that lies within the GRDHD's seven-county Kentucky district.

Several other counties within the health department's district had new positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed on Wednesday:

  • Henderson County: 7 new positive cases
  • McLean County: 1 new positive case
  • Ohio County: 2 new positive cases
  • Union County: 2 new positive cases
  • Webster County: 2 new positive cases

Overall, 27 new positive cases of COVID-19 were reported in the GRDHD district on Wednesday. 

The total number of identified cases within the district is now 2,251, with Daviess County accounting for nearly half of those, at 1,007 total positive cases.
