Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear on Tuesday announced the launch of the "Healthy at Home Eviction Relief Fund" website, where Kentuckian renters and landlords now can visit and apply for assistance.

Beshear dedicated $15 million in federal funds to the eviction relief program in late-August with the creation of the fund, saying it would provide a significant amount of time before an eviction process begins.

According to the Kentucky governor, the Healthy at Home Eviction Relief Fund will help both tenants and landlords alike.

Through the eviction relief fund, eligible landlords can be reimbursed for missed rent payments and receive some advance rent payments to keep tenants in their homes. For tenants, the program pays up to 90% of past-due rent and may also cover up to two months of future rent.

We're still waiting on the actual cold front to get here. That should arrive around dawn, bringing mainly light rain. The front may also be responsible for perking up a couple bands of heavier rain and lightning east of Evansville for midday Saturday.
