The Old National Events Plaza and Nederlander National Markets are announcing the return of Broadway with the 2021-2022 Broadway in Evansville season.

This season features the two-time Tony® nominated hit, ANASTASIA, based on the movie of the same name, the record-breaking musical spectacular CATS, the newly staged production of the Tony® Award-winning Fiddler on the Roof, and the eight-time Tony® Award-winning Hairspray.

Subscriptions are on sale now for renewing and new full season ticket packages.

“We are so excited to announce that Broadway in Evansville is BACK,” said Alexis Berggren, General Manager of Old National Events Plaza. “The Aiken Theatre has long served as the home for national Broadway tours in our community, and to mark this special return, we have an exciting season offering something for everyone. We can’t wait to welcome our subscribers and patrons back to the theatre this year, and we even have some surprises in store.”

It's a seasonable and dry start to Friday, but the heat is going to turn up this afternoon. Partly sunny skies will stick around with highs in the mid to upper 80s. The humidity may take the way it feels up a notch. Those southerly winds will help push in that moisture making it feel more like the low 90s. An isolated shower can't be ruled out, but any rainfall won't ruin our plans.
