Officials with Tropicana Evansville Casino said Monday that the casino would soon resume around-the-clock operations.

As of Friday, July 2, Tropicana Evansville Casino will once again offer 24/7 services with all slot and table games open, and players able to smoke, drink and eat on the casino floor.

“We are excited and appreciative to offer non-stop gaming once again,” said John Chaszar, Tropicana Evansville’s Senior Vice President & General Manager.

Chaszar says that while the casino will return to non-stop operations, the health and safety of guests and employees will continue to be prioritized.

"Masks are optional for anyone fully vaccinated and recommended for everyone not fully vaccinated," Chaszar said. "We have been working very hard over the past year to keep everyone safe and we will continue to provide the outstanding service and experiences Tropicana Evansville is known for.”

The Tropicana Evansville Casino features over 1,100 slot games, over 30 live and electronic table games, and a High Limit Room.

The combination of sunshine and southerly winds will make for another unseasonably warm day throughout the Ohio Valley - expect an afternoon high temperature near 69° this afternoon. Some areas could even see temperatures well into the 70s. Friday evening looks as though it will be just as pleasant; after seeing the upper 60s earlier in the day, we'll dip to 60° by 5 PM before falling towards 54° around 7 o’clock. We are however, watching a passing cold front that is expected to pass through the Tri-State late Friday evening and early Saturday morning. We won't see any rain from this front, but it will cool temperatures into the low 40s by Saturday morning.
