The Diocese of Evansville Catholic Education Office said Monday that three more students within the Diocese of Evansville Catholic schools district had tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the education office, the students who tested positive for the virus all attend the same school within the district.
No further information can be released on the students who tested positive or the school that they attend for privacy reasons, according to the education office.
The education office says that the students who tested positive are self-quarantining and will return to school at the appropriate time. School administration has also contacted potential close contacts and asked them to self-quarantine.
The Diocese of Evansville Catholic Education Office works with 26 diocesan Catholic schools across eight southwest Indiana counties.
