On Tuesday, The Evansville Catholic Education Office reported three positive Covid-19 tests involving two different diocesan Catholic schools.

Two employees tested positive at one school, and one student tested positive at a second school.

This now brings the Evansville diocese up to seven positive cases over the last two days after three students and one employee tested positive on Monday.

The Diocese of Evansville works with 26 schools across eight counties of Southwestern Indiana, and for privacy reasons, did not provide which schools the new positive COVID-19 cases came from.

The Diocese reports that all four students and the three employees are currently self-quarantining, and they will not be returning to school until the appropriate time.

The school has contacted potential close contacts and asked them to self-quarantine as well.
