32 New Positive COVID-19 Cases Reported in Green River District

32 new positive cases of COVID-19 were reported in the Green River District Health Department's seven-county area on Tuesday.

The Green River District Health Department said Tuesday that 32 new positive cases of COVID-19 had been identified in its seven-county district.

Here are the new positive COVID-19 cases reported by GRDHD Tuesday:

  • Daviess County: 14 new cases
  • Henderson County: 10 new cases
  • McLean County: 1 new case
  • Ohio County: 2 new cases
  • Union County: 1 new case
  • Webster County: 4 new cases

According to GRDHD, that brought the total number of positive cases identified in the district to date to 20,908.

No new COVID-19 deaths were reported in the seven-county district on Tuesday, according to GRDHD, which left the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the district at 375.

The state of Kentucky is currently reporting 429,511 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 6,171 statewide deaths.

The bitterly cold start to our Wednesday will inevitably lead to a cooler-than-average afternoon across the Tri-State. We're currently expecting an afternoon high of 26° in Evansville on Wednesday afternoon (that’s 17° below average for this time of the year). Temperatures will once again dive back down towards the teens for many of us overnight and into early Thursday. As for right now Thursday morning looks as though will be slightly warmer, but only just - believes model data indicates that we will see a morning low temperature of 14° under partly cloudy skies in Evansville tomorrow morning.
