Local Evansville Pastor Announces Run at Republican Party Chair

A local Evansville pastor announced on Monday his intentions for running as a candidate for Vanderburgh County Republican Party Chairmen.

A local Evansville pastor announced on Monday his intentions for running as a candidate for Vanderburgh County Republican Party Chairman.

Republican Steve Ary has announced he will seek election as Vanderburgh County Republican Party Chairman in the upcoming Republican party reorganization day.

Ary is an Evansville native that graduated from Central High School and the University of Southern Indiana where he studied psychology.

Ary has been involved with the state and local political process for over 10 years and has run political campaigns in the past. He said he wants to utilized the party's strong base to continue to help Republican candidates win elections and build on the success of the local GOP party.
