At the Henderson Sureway, the general manager has been so busy Thursday as truck after truck has rolled in with stocks of supplies.

It's all so customers have everything they need by the time that snowfall hits again.

From toiler paper to milk, people are rushing to make sure they have the essential items they need, in case they get snowed in.

Store owners are feeling the heat, ordering in bulk.

And customers are taking advantage.

"I don't mind the snow. In fact I love the snow," said shopper Marie Oates. "But I love to be ready for it when it does comes. I keep my staple foods at all times. Not just because of the snow. But I need to make sure I do have it so when I can't get out, I will have it at my disposal."

Of course one of the hottest commodities on people's shopping list is bread, but makes sure you get it before it runs out.

It was another cool, though overall pleasant day across the Tri-State - after only seeing temperatures dive as low as 22° early this morning, peak temperatures ended up climbing a few degrees higher than Thursday's; that being said, Evansville’s high temperature of 27° Was still 15° below average for this time of the year. As for the evening ahead, temperatures will gradually fall for 23° around dinner time back down to 19° by10 PM. A weak northerly wind flow most of the night paired with our crystal clear skies will cause temperatures to of fall back down into the mid to low teens once again - Evansville's anticipated low temperature of 12° will mark or coolest since the morning of January 7th.
