$5M Grant Allows University of Evansville to Share Online Resources with Other Universities

The $5 million grant was awarded to the University by the Lilly Endowment.

The University of Evansville is set to receive $5 million in grant money from the Lilly Endowment.

This comes through the Competitive Phase Three of the initiative "Charting the Future of Indiana's Colleges and Universities."

U of E worked with three other institutions in requesting the grant, including Drake University, Valparaiso University, and North Central College.

Funding will be used to establish was they describe as a cloud-based resource planning system.

We woke up to dry and cold conditions this Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, there won’t be any drastic changes this afternoon. Increasing cloud cover will be likely as a cold northerly flow continues ushering in chilly air. Highs won’t be going very far, we’ll likely only reach the mid to upper 30s Tri-State wide. We’re tracking a little bit of winter weather out to our north and west. Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight with a chance of flurries/light rain. It won't be a big snow by any stretch, but you could see some flurries flying Tuesday night into Wednesday morning around the Tri-State. Don't expect more than a dusting, with greater chances falling north of I-64.
