At least six booths have dropped out of this year's West Side Nut Club Fall Festival in Evansville, Indiana, due to concerns surrounding the spread of COVID-19.

The West Side Nut Club says they understand and that they'll hold those organizations' spots for next year.

While nothing was made mandatory, the Nut Club held a press conference in August where they encouraged those attending or volunteering at this year's Fall Festival to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

While the annual Evansville festival was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic, this year's Fall Festival is still on for Oct. 4 through Oct. 9.

At this time, the Nut Club hasn't named the six booths that have dropped out.
