74-Year-Old Evansville Woman Wins $200K Hadi Shrine Half-Pot

The Hadi Shriners say a 74-year-old Evansville woman has come forward and claimed her half of the 2021 'Summer Dream' Half-Pot.

The Evansville Hadi Shrine says the winner of the 2021 Summer Dream Half-Pot has come forward.

According to the Hadi Shriners, a 74-year-old woman from Evansville came forward to claim her portion of the half-pot on Friday.

The Hadi Shrine says that the woman wanted to remain anonymous.

Overall, the total for the Half-Pot was $200,145, meaning the winner took home just over $100,000 in winnings.

After taxes were taken out of the winner's portion, she took home around $75,000.

The Shriners announced the winning ticket number on June 21.

Wow!!!! It's cold!!!! After a trace of snow in Evansville and some higher amounts to the south, we're waking up to temperatures in the mid to upper teens across the Tri-State. Thankfully, road crews did a fantastic job treating the roads to keep conditions from getting slick. However, the northerly winds gusting as high as 15 to 20 mph has dropped wind chill values into the single digits and even below zero in our western communities. There won't be much of an improvement in temperatures this afternoon. With the strong northerly wind flow and dry skies our highs will only reach the mid to upper 20s. Winds will stay quite breezy keeping the wind chill factor in place through the day.
