Milder air will be marching back the area this afternoon. Many locations will have the opportunity to approach the upper-70s and perhaps the 80-degree mark by 3PM. It will also be breezy at times wind gust could get as high 30 MPH. The clear skies will last this evening and overnight. The mercury will only dip into the mid-50s by daybreak Tuesday.
Everyone will be settling in the lower 80s by tomorrow afternoon with mostly clear skies. Our next best chance of showers and storms will be arriving by early-Wednesday morning. From there, on and off rain chances will be lasting until Thursday afternoon. The latest model data has the Tri State receiving 1"-2+" of rainfall.

After a damp start to our Monday, the rain and skies gradually cleared for many of us and we were left with a pleasant and breezy, albeit humid afternoon throughout the Tri-State. The southerly winds paired with the clearer skies later in the day helped drive temperatures back into mid to low 80s for many of us. The evening ahead should remain dry and mild; after seeing temperatures around 80° dinnertime and 75° by 10PM, we'll fall off to a morning low near 69° in Evansville early Tuesday morning.
