Wow!! What a difference we are feeling this morning?
We are already feeling the impact from the cold front that moved through the area overnight. Temperatures continued cooling down into the 50s, 60s, and low 70s across the Tri-State this morning. At one point there was a 14 degree difference from Greenville, KY (73) to Washington, IN (59). The best part about all of this is the dew points; it's been a while since we've dipped down into the low 50s. However, we can't complain much about the chilly start to the day, it's definitely a nice break from the high humidity. There is still quite a bit of cloud cover out there, but that will decrease throughout the afternoon hours.
High pressure will continue settling in across the Tri-State, setting us up for a gorgeous weekend. Temperatures will be topping out in the upper 70s for today, but like I said the humidity is basically going to be non-existent. It's going to be a great next couple of days to spend most of your time outside. Temperatures will rise into the mid 80s through the weekend, but it's expected to stay dry with lots of sunshine.
Have a fun and safe Labor Day weekend!
