Believe it or not, our pleasant, mild weather is about to get even nicer. A cold front swinging through the region overnight will upends those southerly winds that helped drive afternoon highs on Thursday into the mid 80s and allow cooler, more comfortable weather to reach the Tri-State.
After seeing morning lows for Evansville and the areas south bottom out near 65° (areas north of Evansville could see the mid 50s), gradually decreasing cloud cover and a breezy northerly wind flow will make for a nearly flawless Friday; we’ll reach just 79° in the River City!
As for the holiday weekend ahead, you’re in luck. The unofficial end to the summer season looks as though it will be mild, yet pleasant. Saturday will be 83°, Sunday 85° and Labor Day will peak at 87°. Additionally, each of the three days will have little to no cloud cover nor humidity. Enjoy!
