TODAY: It's going to be quite summer-like with dry and hot conditions. While the Tri-State will stay rain free, there is an Air Quality Alert in effect for our area. The western wildfires are still sending smoke into the region, making it dangerous for our sensitive groups to be outside. Thursday's high will hit 88° under mostly to partly sunny skies. Winds will stay out of the ENE at 5-10 MPH.

TONIGHT: Clear skies will persist with temperatures dipping into the upper 60s. The River City will be waking up to a low temperature of 69°.

HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND: Conditions have remained quite comfortable this week, but the high pressure parked to our north isn't expected to linger over the Midwest much longer. As it moves off to the east that will make room for some strong Gulf moisture to move into the region. Friday will be mostly sunny with peak temperatures reaching the 90° with dew points near 70°.

We headed out to cloudy skies and some damp conditions this morning across the Tri-State. We've been tracking scattered showers for the first part of the day. While it’s been mostly cloudy, there will be some sunshine as soon as we get the rain out of the area. Temperatures are still expected to reach unseasonably warm values this afternoon. With some sunshine and winds out of the southwest highs should have no problem reaching the upper 50s and lower 60s. Clouds will clear out, but the southerly wind flow will keep overnight lows in the low to mid 40s. Tomorrow morning won't be all that bad considering it will be December 2nd.
