Arrest Made After Man Stabbed in Owensboro

A woman was arrested on Tuesday morning after a man was stabbed in Owensboro.

The Owensboro Police Department says a woman was arrested on Tuesday after a man was stabbed in Owensboro, Kentucky.

OPD says officers went to the 1300 block of Independence Avenue for a stabbing around 10:23 a.m. on Tuesday after someone reported a man had been stabbed in the abdomen.

Police say 65-year-old Pamela Totten of Owensboro was arrested in connection to the incident and charged with 2nd Degree Assault. Jail records show she was also charged with marijuana cultivation.

The man who was stabbed was taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was later released from the hospital after being treated.

The combination of sunshine and southerly winds will make for another abnormally mild day throughout the Ohio Valley - expect an afternoon high temperature near 69° this afternoon.
