Attorney Neil Chapman sat down with 44News to discuss the implosion of the 420 Main building and the future of the property.

Chapman also shared why he decided to make the structure the center-piece for his law practice when other tenants had vacated the aging tower years ago.

As a Tri-State native, Chapman says the implosion is a watershed moment for the city, joining several other pivotal events in the city's history.

Chapman Law has since moved from the 17th floor of the 420 Main building to a 14th-floor address within the Fifth Third Bank Building two blocks to the south.

Hear more from Chapman on his history in the 18-story tower in his two-part interview with 44News Anchor Tommy Mason.

Wow!!!! It's cold!!!! After a trace of snow in Evansville and some highe amounts to the south, we're waking up to temperatures in the mid to upper teens across the Tri-State. Thankfully, road crews did a fantastic job treating the roads to keep conditions from getting slick. However, the northerly winds gusting as high as 15 to 20 mph has dropped wind chill values into the single digits and even below zero in our western communities. There won't be much of an improvement in temperatures this afternoon. With the strong northerly wind flow and dry skies our highs will only reach the mid to upper 20s. Winds will stay quite breezy keeping the wind chill factor in place through the day.
