It has been confirmed by the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office that the murder suspect in the Megan Nichols case, 24-year-old Brodey Murbarger has been extradited from the Vanderburgh County Jail to the Wayne County Jail late Friday night.
Murbarger is expected to be in court this coming week to answer to his charges, three first degree Murder charges, Criminal Home Invasion, Criminal Sexual Abuse of a Minor, and Criminal Confinement of a Body.

Wednesday Murbergar was arrested outside of his Evansville job. Detectives also served a search warrant for his property and apartment.
Court records reveal Murbarger could be an Internet predator.
Investigators believe the then 19-year-old man met, Nichols who was 15 at the time, on a social media website.
Nichols went missing July 3, 2014. Her remains were discovered in a field in trash bags in December 2017.
Murbarger is behind bars without bond at this time.
