Beautiful & Breezy Thursday; Cool Down Comes Tomorrow

Get prepared to see seasonal temperatures with highs surging into the low-80s. It will be a tad bit milder today, however we have our eyes on the round of cooler air.

A big variety of temperatures across the area as we are heading out the door this morning. Some of us seeing temperatures as cool as the 40s, while Greenville, KY only dipped down to 65°. Either way, we're going to be warming up with beautiful skies through our Thursday afternoon.

We are tracking our next inbound cold front that is sliding through the Tri-State this morning, but no rain will be trailing behind. However, the big change in temperatures won't be making its presence until Friday. We're still expected to top out around 83° this afternoon under mostly sunny skies. Tonight, we'll filter in some cloud cover and dip down into the low-to-mid 50s overnight.

We'll start to really feel fall tomorrow. As high pressure settles in expect conditions to be dry and clear with highs topping out in the low 70s. This weekend will be significantly cooler especially in the mornings and evenings. It may be a good idea to get the sweatshirts and blankets out.

Early-morning fog will be possible by daybreak tomorrow. Clouds will increase from the south through midday. Scattered showers and storms will develop by the evening and increase in coverage after sunset. Expect highs to approach the low-80s.
