The dry weather has returned! We are heading out to a cool and comfortable start to this Friday. Temperatures are starting out in the 50s and 60s under mostly clear skies. The cool start to our Friday however, won't make for a cooler day overall.
This afternoon we'll have no problem reaching the mid 80s thanks to the ample amount of sunshine and southwesterly flow. Winds will be near 5 or 10 mph. Friday's anticipated high of 84° will be Evansville's hottest day in nearly two weeks.
Despite the warmup, we're still looking forward to the drying trend- conditions won't be all that muggy, so if you have plans outside tonight, it's going to be perfect. In fact, by the time we get to sunset, temperatures will have fallen into the upper 70s. We'll dive back to 63° along the Ohio by daybreak Saturday before bouncing right back up into the mid to upper 80s tomorrow afternoon.
