Bell-Ringing Ceremony Held for Veterans Day at LST-325

A special Veterans Day ceremony was held at the LST-325 on Wednesday which included the ringing of the ship's bell, an honor guard rifle salute, and the performance of Taps.

On Wednesday, a bell-ringing ceremony will be held for Veterans Day at the LST-325 Memorial.

Evansville Deputy Mayor Steve Schaefer will speak at the event at 10:50 a.m., 10 minutes before the bell-ringing ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m.

After the ship's bell rings 21 times, an honor guard will fire a rifle salute.

Finally, the ceremony will be ended with a performance of Taps.

The historic ship is located in downtown Evansville at 610 NW Riverside Drive.
