Although several states remain still remain uncalled, Joe Biden's campaign on Wednesday expressed confidence in the Democratic nominee, stating he's "on track to win this election" against President Donald Trump.
Biden's campaign manager, Jen O'Malley Dillon, stated on a conference call Wednesday that the Democratic nominee “will be the next president of the United States," with the former vice president echoing that message himself.
“By this afternoon, we expect that vice president will have leads in states that put him over 270 electoral votes,” O'Malley Dillon emphasized.
While Biden and his campaign expressed confidence in the race for the Oval Office, President Trump issued a similar message on Wednesday, saying, "we will win this - and as far as I'm concerned, we already have."
According to LIVE Associated Press projections that currently show several states as uncalled, Biden currently holds 238 electoral votes against Trump's current 213, with 270 total needed by either candidate to win the election.
