A new way to stay active and explore the city of Henderson, Kentucky, is now available to anyone in the area.
The Henderson Tourist Commission says the bikes seen here are now available for rent at the corner of 2nd Street and Main Street in downtown Henderson.
The cost of renting the bikes is $3 per hour.
Additionally, the Henderson Tourist Commission says community bike rides are back. The first bike ride took place on Friday morning at 9:00 a.m., but the weekly rides will continue until the last week in September. Learn more about the weekly rides on downtownhenderson.org.
The tourist commission says Field & Main Bank made the bike rental concept possible, and that the Evansville Trails Coalition brought the program to Henderson.
