A blood drive in Muhlenberg County is giving donors the chance to win tickets to the 2022 Indy 500 while they help refuel the blood supply.
American Red Cross will hold a blood drive Thursday at the Greenville Second Baptist Church, which is located at 217 West Depot Street, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Red Cross will collect all blood types but has a big need for "type O" blood.
In addition to the need for blood, American Red Cross has teamed up with IndyCar between April 1st through 15th. Every donation made, including at Thursday's event, will lead to an entry to win a VIP trip for four to the 2022 Indianapolis 500. Donors will also have a chance to win one of five $1,000 e-gift cards to a merchant of their choice.
