Blue Angels Visit Owensboro in Preparation of 2021 Air Show

The Blue Angels will return to Owensboro in August 2021 where they'll perform above the Ohio River.

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels made a stop in Owensboro, Kentucky on Monday morning.

The squadron was in town to scope out plans for its 2021 appearance at the Owensboro Air Show, where the Blue Angels will take to the skies from Aug. 14 - Aug. 15.

For those wanting to see the Blue Angels in action, they'll be in flight over the Ohio River in downtown Owensboro between the hours of 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 14 - Aug. 15.

The event on the downtown Owensboro riverfront will be held free of charge.

A number of different aircraft will also be on display at the Owensboro Regional Airport on Aug. 13, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Admission for that event will cost $5.00 per person, though kids 10 and under may attend for free.
