Signature School Classes Relocated after Bomb Threat at Civic Center

Signature School in Evansville had to relocate its classes today due to a bomb threat at the Civic Center.

Signature School in Evansville had to relocate its classes today due to a bomb threat at the Civic Center.

Signature School is located on Main Street just across from the Civic Center. All of its main classes were moved to the Science Center further away from the Civic Center in response to the bomb threat that happened around 1 p.m. this afternoon.

The Vanderburgh County Superior Court building was also evacuated.

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff department is currently investigating the threat.

SIGNATURE SCHOOL-- WHICH IS ON MAIN STREET JUST ACROSS M-L-K BOULEVARD FROM THE CIVIC CENTER-- MOVED ALL OF ITS MAIN CLASSES TO THE SCIENCE CENTER A LITTLE FURTHER AWAY FROM THE CIVIC CENTER IN RESPONSE TO A THREAT THAT WAS MADE AT ABOUT ONE OCLOCK TODAY
THE VANDERBURGH COUNTY COURTS BUILDING WAS ALSO EVACUATED...
THE THREAT IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION...

Wow!!!! It's cold!!!! After a trace of snow in Evansville and some highe amounts to the south, we're waking up to temperatures in the mid to upper teens across the Tri-State. Thankfully, road crews did a fantastic job treating the roads to keep conditions from getting slick. However, the northerly winds gusting as high as 15 to 20 mph has dropped wind chill values into the single digits and even below zero in our western communities. There won't be much of an improvement in temperatures this afternoon. With the strong northerly wind flow and dry skies our highs will only reach the mid to upper 20s. Winds will stay quite breezy keeping the wind chill factor in place through the day.
