The Boonville-Warrick County Public Library (BWCPL) is temporarily closing its Boonville, Indiana, branch after one of its employees tested positive for coronavirus.

BWCPL announced the closure on Wednesday, saying that the library would be closed for two weeks.

While the library is closed, employees will be getting tested for coronavirus and a deep cleaning of the facility will be conducted.

Library officials say the employee who tested positive did not work directly with the public, but that extra precautions are being taken due to the seriousness of the issue.

The BWPLC Boonville branch is scheduled to reopen on Aug 3.

The decision to close the library for two weeks was made after consulting CDC Guidelines, the Warrick County Health Department, and the BWCPL Board.

Boonville Warrick County Public Library is located at 611 W Main St in Boonville, Indiana.
