The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) says the inspection is scheduled for April 16 and should be completed the same day.
Inspection is set to begin next week for the William H. Natcher Bridge in Daviess County. The lane closure will impact drivers on U.S. 231 South on Wednesday, April 21st.
According to the KYTC, crews will use a UAV Unmanned Aerial Vehicle to inspect the stay cables of the bridge.
The William H. Natcher Bridge over the Ohio River connects Owensboro and Rockport.
KYTC says a single lane closure will be in effect on U.S. 231 South from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
