COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Scheduled at Gibson County Fair

Hoosier health officials will host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the Gibson County Fair.

The Indiana State Department of Health is planning to host a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the upcoming Gibson County Fair in Princeton, Indiana.

The vaccine clinic will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on the last two days of the fair - Friday, July 16, and Saturday, July 17.

Over in Tell City, the state health department also plans to host a vaccine clinic at the Perry County 4-H Fair and will be administering shots as soon as noon on Friday, July 9.

The Gibson County Fair will be held at the Gibson County Fairgrounds, which are located at 709 N Embree St. in Princeton, Indiana.

The Gibson County Fair itself will kick off on Sunday, July 11. You can see a full schedule for the fair here.

The combination of sunshine and southerly winds will make for another abnormally mild day throughout the Ohio Valley - expect an afternoon high temperature near 69° this afternoon. Friday evening looks as though it will be just as pleasant; after seeing the upper 60s earlier in the day, we'll dip to 60° by 5 PM before falling towards 54° around 7 o’clock. We are however, watching a passing low pressure system and accompanying cold front that is expected to pass through the Tri-State late Friday evening and early Saturday morning.
