COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Set Up For Saturday In Jasper

1,200 doses of vaccine are expected to be administered for residents eligible according to the Indiana State Department of Health Guidelines.

On Saturday, January 23, the Dubois County Health Department, along with the Indiana State Department of Healh, will be hosting a district-wide mass COVID-19 vaccination clinic.

1,200 doses of the vaccine will be administered in the one-day event.  The vaccine will be eligible to residents who meet the Indiana State Department of Health guidelines.

The clinic will take place at Jasper Middle School, located at 3600 Portersville Road.  There are two sets of times for the clinic, 8:00 a.m. to Noon Eastern Time and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern time.

In order to receive the vaccine, residents must schedule an appointment during the times listed by going to www.ourshot.in.gov or calling 211 for those who do not have internet access.

Health officials ask for residents to arrive close to the scheduled appointment times in order to keep the clinic running on time and to maintain social distancing.
