The Green River District Health Department is expanding COVID-19 vaccine availability to individuals in Phase 1C of Kentucky's vaccine distribution plan.
Phase 1C of Kentucky's vaccine distribution plan currently includes Anyone 60-years-old and above, anyone age 16 who's categorized at highest risk by the CDC, and all essential workers (non-healthcare).

As vaccine quantities and available appointment times allow, individuals who qualify under Phase 1C of the distribution plan can sign up for GRDHD's waiting list, allowing them to receive the vaccine ahead of schedule.
Eligible individuals can sign up on the waiting list to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in the following counties:
- Daviess
- Hancock
- Henderson
- McLean
- Ohio
- Union
- Webster
According to GRDHD, while the waiting list will allow anyone eligible under Phase 1C of Kentucky's vaccine distribution plan to receive the vaccine, it will have an emphasis on those age 60-years-old and up.
Anyone eligible to receive the vaccine under the previous phases of Kentucky's distribution plan (Phase 1A and Phase 1B) can still sign up normally to do so.
Officials with GRDHD say that through the waiting list, they hope to ensure each vaccination site administers at least 90% of all vaccines received within seven days of arrival.
