The Indiana State Police (ISP) says a California man was arrested in Pike County on Tuesday on marijuana dealing/possession charges after being found with around 13 pounds in the back seat and trunk of his vehicle.
According to ISP, 26-year-old Arthur Ward of Bakersfield, California, was traveling in the area of I-69 in Pike County on Tuesday afternoon when the vehicle he was in was stopped for speeding.
When the Trooper who stopped Ward spoke to him, ISP says the Trooper noticed the strong scent of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.
ISP says a search of Ward's vehicle produced around 13 pounds of suspected marijuana in the back seat and the trunk.
After the marijuana was collected, Ward was taken to the Pike County Jail where he's being held without bond.

ISP says a woman who was driving the vehicle that Ward was in at the time of the stop took possession of the vehicle.
