Evansville shoppers were able to score a good deal Saturday, while helping local animals.
Camilla's Closet hosted their semi-annual "Fill-a-Bag" sale.
Customers were able to fill their bag for $10 with as many clothes as they wanted.
A majority of the money raised goes back to Petunia's Resale For Rescue, a thrift store benefitting local animal rescue efforts.
That money will then be given as grants to other animal rescues.
"We're an animal rescue. That's our mission. My wife and I decided a while back that we didn't necessarily want our lives work to be our jobs, so we're moving in this direction to do the grants for local animal rescue," says Curt Welte, Camilla's Closet owner.
It Takes A Village Canine Rescue was also onsite with dogs ready to be adopted.
Any successful adoption was also gifted a $25 gift card to Camilla's Closet.
The next "Fill-a-Bag" event will be held in the Spring.
