Carjacking Suspect Leads EPD on Short Chase Sunday

A Carjacking turns into a short car chase early Sunday morning.

Evansville Police responding to the 2300 block  Sunburst Boulevard, where a caller stated that a man dressed in all black forced a woman out of her vehicle at gunpoint.

The suspect later identified as 18-year old Jai Anthony Harris fled the scene headed eastbound on Riverside Drive.

Officers were able to locate the vehicle, leading to a short pursuit.

Harris eventually crashed before being arrested.

He's since been booked in the Vanderburgh County Jail on several charges, including Robbery.
