According to Castle High School (CHS), one of its administrators has tested positive for COVID-19.
A letter was sent out by CHS on Tuesday informing parents of the positive coronavirus test.
"Good morning! I wanted to take a moment to give you an update on our preparations to begin the school year," the letter from CHS began. "We have hit a little bump in the road with one of our school administrators being diagnosed with COVID19."
The letter goes on to state that the administrator is "doing very well" and has only experienced one mild symptom of coronavirus.
CHS says it followed Warrick County School Corporation's mitigation plan and quarantined the administrator.
Two other CHS administrators were deemed as close contacts of the administrator who tested positive and have also been asked to quarantine for the recommended 14 days.
