Grab the hot coffee and some layers! It's a cold start to our Monday. Most of us are waking up to temperatures in the low 40s.
Don't worry, this afternoon will bring us sunshine and highs in the 60s & 70s. It's going to be a beautiful day. Winds won't be too breezy, with speeds around 5-15 MPH. Tonight will be dry, but we'll cool down into the low to mid 40s.
Tomorrow afternoon will bring some significant changes after we see a nice start to our Tuesday. We're tracking a strong cold front that's going to bring a significant cool down to the region, along with rain and even SNOW chances. Right now, the main timeline is 6-10PM tomorrow night. As new model data comes out, the possibility of snow isn't expected to last long in our region. The ground temperature is just too warm to allow much accumulation, if it does happen.
As we head into Wednesday, most of the wet weather should be out of the Tri-State. However, we'll be waking up to freezing temperatures. Some of our communities have already been placed under a Freeze Warning through Wednesday morning at 9AM.
