It may have been a bit chilly for kids in Perry County heading to school this morning, but the heavy rain has left the area!!
Most of the Tri-State stepped out the door to cloudy conditions this morning. Temperatures were in the low to mid 60s, with Evansville's low dipping down to 64°. Temperatures will stay on the cooler side today, as thick cloud cover and possible sprinkles stick around. Northerly winds won't be helping the high temperatures out either; we're only expected to top out in the high 70s.
Today, is just the start of the drier and more comfortable conditions. High pressure will begin to settle in to the North of the Tristate, filtering in clear and quiet weather for the next several days. Expect to see alot of sunshine, low humidity, and no rain through Friday. Low temperatures could be feeling fall like as they will be dipping into the 50s. Highs will still be seasonably low, staying in the low 80s until the weekend.
Unfortunately, the fantastic conditions aren't here to stay. Summer-like weather will be moving back into the region this weekend. Rain chances and temperatures in the high 80s and low 90s will be making a come back.
