We are starting off our work week with cold weather, but it won't be sticking around for long. Most of the Tri-State woke up to temperatures in the low 30s under mostly cloudy skies. There was a light wind that made it feel in the upper 20s for the early hours of the morning. We are expected to stay dry for your Monday, but you may have noticed some stray flurries this morning. Besides the limited chance of snowflakes, gray skies will dominate with slow warming through the day.
Highs are only expected to top out in the low-40s for highs once again. The good news is, after we get through today, the conditions are only going to get better for the remainder of the week. Signs will start popping up tonight when the clouds start to scatter. However, morning lows will be in the upper 20s and low 30s for your Tuesday.
Tuesday afternoon will be quite pleasant with sunny skies and high temperatures in the upper 40s. By mid-week, it'll be time to make those plans for outdoor activities. We should expect highs for Wednesday and Thursday to be in the mid to upper 50s under mostly sunny skies.
