The Tri-State is waking up to temperatures in the mid to upper 40s. Evansville was staying on the warmer side until about 7:00 a.m.; we dipped down to 46° under partly cloudy skies in Evansville. It's going to take us a while to climb to more comfortable conditions because temperatures are only expected to top out around 66°.
Scattered cloud cover will stick around through much of the day, before clearing out tonight. While we may see a stray shower this afternoon, the majority of the region will remain dry and breezy.
Tonight, we'll dip down to the upper 40s once again with mostly clear skies. Get ready for a slight warm up though. A change in wind direction will come tomorrow and is expected to bring about some seasonable weather temporarily. High temperatures will move right back up to 75°, but hold on because we're diving back down Thursday when another cold front swings through the Ohio Valley that evening.
