It's going to be a challenge to see that sunshine across the region in the coming days. In addition to the lack of bright skies, temperatures won't be climbing. We're starting off this Monday morning in the mid-to-upper 40s with mostly cloudy skies. Light drizzle will be likely through the first part of the day.
Rain chances will become likely this afternoon; which will make it hard for highs to top out in the mid 50s. Around 2:00 p.m. our far northwestern communities will start to see a line of showers moving in. We'll keep watching those move to the southeast, but the latest models show it staying north of the Ohio River for today. Late tonight into Tuesday morning, our Kentucky counties will be looking out for those showers.

Tuesday morning will be cool, but seasonable. Expect rain chances to continue with lows in the mid 40s by daybreak. Even though temperatures will stay on the cool side, it looks like we'll get some dry time Tuesday afternoon. Unfortunately, this won't be the end of the rain this week. There will be plenty of chances mid to late week, too.
