Victim Identified in Fatal Crash at Hwy 41 and Wolf Hills Road in Henderson

The identity of a woman killed in a Monday morning crash on Highway 41 in Henderson has been released.

One person was killed and another injured in a Monday morning crash in Henderson, Kentucky.

We're told the crash took place around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 41 and Wolf Hills Road, which is just south of the Twin Bridges on the Henderson side.

The woman who died in the crash has now been identified as 67-year-old Ava Bartley. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other person who was hurt in the crash was taken to the hospital but the extent of their injuries is unknown.

No other details are available at this time.

Wow!!!! It's cold!!!! After a trace of snow in Evansville and some higher amounts to the south, we're waking up to temperatures in the mid to upper teens across the Tri-State. Thankfully, road crews did a fantastic job treating the roads to keep conditions from getting slick. However, the northerly winds gusting as high as 15 to 20 mph has dropped wind chill values into the single digits and even below zero in our western communities. There won't be much of an improvement in temperatures this afternoon. With the strong northerly wind flow and dry skies our highs will only reach the mid to upper 20s. Winds will stay quite breezy keeping the wind chill factor in place through the day.
