Coroner Identifies Victim Hit & Killed On Covert Avenue

The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office and Evansville Police are investigating after a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle on Covert Avenue dies.

The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office and Evansville Police are investigating after a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle on Covert Avenue dies. 

The coroner says the collission happened Friday around 5:30 p.m.

Officials say 60-year-old Vernon Schultze of Evansville was taken to St. Vincent where he later died from injuries sustained in the collision.
