Crash On I-64 In Illinois Injures One Man

Accident took place in Wayne County, Illinois Monday evening.

A Carlyle, Illinois man continues to battle from life-threatening injuries from a crash Monday evening on I-64 in Wayne County.

Illinois State Police said that 57-year-old Brian Pillow, was flown from the scene to a nearby hospital after crashing in a semi truck traveling westbound near milemarker 108.

According to troopers, the truck was traveling when it suffered a blow out of it's driver side steer tire.  Pillow lost control of the truck and left the interstate, striking a group of trees.

Accident took place after 8PM Monday night.
