In Vanderburgh County, two people are seriously injured in a Sunday morning crash.

The Sheriff's Office says the crash happened in the area of Big Cynthiana Road (SR 65) south of W. Baseline Road around 10:45 a.m.

A 911 caller reported that the occupants of the vehicle were trapped inside, including one child.

The Scott Township Fire Department arrived first and began extricating a 9-year-old male from a gray Dodge Caravan. The driver and child were both transported to St. Vincent Hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries.
